I am a big fan of Rick Steve's shows. Watch the videos, read the books, listen to the podcasts. Just love the practical high quality shows that are made by Rick. Picture quality is great! If your planning to take a trip watch the shows & read the books first. Just do your homework.
Short and interesting!
I watched this video in preparation for my upcoming trip. Its film quality is excellent and the narration is to the point and never boring. One gets a good initial impression of the area covered. For in-depth information (on the complex history of the Balkans) one needs to consult books as a tourist video like this one could not do it justice. Nevertheless, basic historical information is provided. In combination with travel guide books (e.g. by Rick Steves or Lonely Planet, etc.) and an in-depth monograph this video can be excellent preparation for a trip. Highly recommended.
Rick Steves Is The Best
We bought the complete set of Rick Steves' DVDs for Christmas but they are in storage. So we bought it again to watch! We enjoy it that much.
